About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and high-impact Sales Director (EMEA) to lead and grow our presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This individual will be responsible for owning and expanding key client relationships within the sell-side research, investment banking, and sales & trading verticals. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise, a proven track record in enterprise SaaS account management, and the leadership acumen to drive strategic growth across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Industry Expertise

Extensive knowledge of sell-side research (Equities and/or Fixed Income), investment banking, or sales & trading
Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders such as Heads of Research, Bankers, Analysts, and Traders
Deep understanding of financial workflows, and how research, data, and analytics drive decision-making
Experience managing enterprise SaaS relationships across multiple business lines and geographies
Proficiency in value-based selling and customer success methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Sandler, BANT)
Expertise in leading account management best practices: stakeholder mapping, KPI tracking, QBRs, strategic planning, etc.
Demonstrated success in upselling, cross-selling, and driving net revenue retention across key accounts

Key Responsibilities

Build and lead a high-performing sales team
Own and grow strategic enterprise relationships across the EMEA region
Identify and execute on new business opportunities within existing accounts
Lead high-value commercial negotiations, renewals, and expansion initiatives
Develop account strategies that align with client goals and deliver measurable business outcomes
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver an exceptional client experience
Serve as the senior point of contact for EMEA-based clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership value
Build a network of relationships with executive decision-makers across multiple lines of business
Lead strategic QBRs and drive adoption, engagement, and ROI with our platform
Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and executive briefings across EMEA

Preferred Qualifications

8–12+ years in enterprise SaaS sales or account management roles
Prior experience in the financial services or capital markets vertical
Experience operating in multi-country sales territories with a focus on EMEA
Fluency in additional European languages (a plus)

Location Preference

London area preferred (remote)
