Senior Engineer/Lead – API Platform

Domain: Financial Services & API Platform Engineering

Contract-to-Hire

Ideally, 5+ years of experience as the person will lead a team of Jr Engineers.

Key Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience in MuleSoft and/or AWS API Gateway (API development, deployment, and management).
Expertise in OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocols—must be familiar with Authorization Code Flow at a minimum.
Proficient in Java development, with a solid understanding of data structures and core programming fundamentals.
Experience building and maintaining Spring Boot-based microservices (12-factor app principles preferred).
Exposure to container orchestration environments such as EKS or ECS is a plus.
Prior experience designing, implementing, or leading API Gateway rollouts in enterprise environments is highly desirable.
