We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our remote UK team. This role is open to a broad range of experience levels—from entry-level to senior data science professionals. You will work with large datasets, build predictive models, and generate insights that influence key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to uncover trends and insights.
Build, train, and optimize machine learning and statistical models (supervised & unsupervised).
Work with stakeholders to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
Develop data pipelines and perform data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation.
Communicate complex findings clearly through visualizations, dashboards, and presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product, and business intelligence.
Contribute to the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of machine learning models (where required).
Follow best practices in documentation, reproducibility, and version control.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis.
Experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
Ability to clean, explore, and analyze complex datasets.
Data visualization skills using Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn).
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Must have legal eligibility to work in the UK (e.g., UK citizen, ILR, Skilled Worker Visa, etc.).
Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD processes.
Domain knowledge (finance, healthcare, retail, etc.) is a plus.
