Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Private Tutor based in Verdun/Ile des soeurs. The Private Tutor will design and deliver one-on-one lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, providing regular feedback to students and guardians, adapting teaching methods to diverse learning styles, and helping students achieve academic improvements in their specific subject areas. The role may involve tutoring in various subjects at elementary or secondary levels.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and expertise in subject areas such as Math, English, Science, or other core academic fields.
Proficiency in developing lesson plans and adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, parents, and guardians.
Ability to assess academic progress and provide constructive feedback to support student development.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.
Prior experience in private tutoring, teaching, or educational support roles is preferred.
Flexibility to adjust schedules based on student availability and academic needs.
