Lead Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Credit Risk / Market Risk)

Location: Iselin, NJ or New York City, NY (Hybrid Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract | W2 Only

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets, specifically within Credit Risk and/or Market Risk domains. This role involves partnering with stakeholders, risk teams, and technical groups to deliver high-impact solutions.

Required Experience & Skills:
12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry
Strong Capital Markets domain knowledge — Credit Risk or Market Risk is mandatory
Expertise in requirements gathering, documentation (BRD/FSD/User Stories), and gap analysis
Hands-on experience working with risk data, regulatory frameworks, and risk metrics
Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
