Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for Technical Floor (Ground-production, Mezzanine, Repairs and Lab Simulators) planning, coordinating, moving, executing, and finalizing relocation from current site to new site.

This role requires strong project management skills, planning expertise, and the ability to manage stakeholders to ensure seamless relocation transition with minimal disruption to business operations and projects impact.

Skills:

Project Management: Manage entire relocation of technical floors with minimal impact to projects and business operation from current site to new site.
Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies for technical floors relocation project. Develop baseline and actual execution plan.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate and interface actively with internal stakeholders, including Project Planners, Lab Support, Contractor (labeling, documenting and dismantling simulator), Moving Contractor, Test personnel for verifying the simulator and Project Managers, to understand requirements and ensure alignment with project goals and schedules to minimize any disruption to the Project Software Test Schedule Budget Management: Monitor project budget, track expenses, and ensure project is completed on time and within financial constraints.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during the relocation process.
Communication: Provide regular updates to Vista senior management and stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any issues that may impact project delivery.
Technical Oversight: Ensure the successful migration of Technical Floor (Repair, Production, Mezzanine and Simulator labs), with minimal downtime and disruption.
Post-Relocation Support: Oversee post-relocation activities, including troubleshooting, testing, and ensuring all systems are fully operational.
Technical Skills: Good understanding of IT infrastructure and/or racks of Electrical/Electronic equipment.
Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively.
Risk assessment and contingency planning: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address them.
Communication with stakeholders: Act as the central point of contact among all stakeholders (Senior management, Lab Support Department, labeling & disconnecting contractor, moving contractor, logistics teams, and others) to ensure alignment and timely updates.
Coordination of equipment moving: Collaborate with the logistics company and Hitachi to establish and manage the schedule for moving equipment.
Infrastructure readiness: Ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place to enable seamless remote access between IT systems and the labs.
Post-5pm availability during equipment move: Be available after 5pm during the relocation of equipment to Consilium, ensuring the process is completed effectively and all systems are operational.
Inventory management: Oversee the inventory of lab equipment and all technical floor being moved, to ensure nothing is misplaced or left behind.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the relocation process, to keep record of schedules, equipment lists, and any changes made during the move.
Support for Labs, Repairs, Mezzanine and Production: To ensure minimal downtime and disruptions during the transition.
Post-move review and report: Conduct a review of the relocation process to identify lessons learned and prepare a report summarizing successes and areas for improvement.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of IT project management experience, with direct involvement in office relocation or infrastructure migration projects.
