Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Analyst to join a collaborative supply chain team. This position plays an essential role in maintaining healthy inventory levels across a nationwide fulfillment network.

The Inventory Analyst works closely with procurement, operations, and leadership teams to monitor supplier performance, resolve inventory issues, and identify opportunities to improve replenishment processes. This role calls for analytical thinking, clear communication, and a solutions-focused mindset. Success in this position comes from balancing data accuracy with strong cross-functional collaboration — all while supporting a workplace that values teamwork, learning, and shared results.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Replenishment: Create and manage purchase orders for assigned suppliers, maintaining accurate lead times, minimum order quantities, and other relevant ordering parameters.
Order Management: Monitor open purchase orders and determine when expediting or special orders are required to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
Supplier Collaboration: Communicate regularly with suppliers to align on lead times, quantities, and performance expectations, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.
Network Optimization: Review stock levels across fulfillment centers, recommend transfers to balance inventory, and identify slow-moving or obsolete products for corrective action.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with procurement, planning, and operations teams to ensure replenishment strategies align with organizational goals and customer demand.
Exception Management: Analyze inventory reports to address demand fluctuations or supply disruptions and adjust plans accordingly to minimize impact.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend process and system enhancements that improve supplier performance, increase replenishment efficiency, and reduce the risk of stockouts.
Collaboration & Reporting: Prepare and share performance reports that highlight key supplier metrics, replenishment trends, and actionable insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in supply chain, replenishment, or inventory management.
Experience in retail or product-based industries preferred.
Proficiency in inventory management or ERP systems (Oracle, GAINS, or similar).
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to shifting priorities.
Attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset.
Understanding of supplier collaboration and logistics challenges.

What You’ll Gain

Competitive compensation with bonus opportunities.
Comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
Paid holidays and volunteer days supporting work/life balance and community engagement.
Tuition reimbursement (up to $5,250 annually) to encourage continued education and professional growth.
A collaborative, people-first culture where teamwork, innovation, and accountability are valued and supported.
