YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

Integrated into the Store Planning procurement team, you will contribute to the strategic procurement of construction works, fixtures, and specialist services with a strong focus on optimizing CAPEX across all architectural works for Celine.

Job Responsibilities

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

Your main missions will include:

Procurement Process Management
Support the tendering/RFP process
Conduct financial and spend analysis
Negotiate with suppliers
Implement legal agreements and report benefits
Monitor supplier performance

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization
Build a database of historical unit cost drivers
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and supplier diversification
Assist in defining and implementing a Preferred Supplier List
Ensure compliance with risk management and sustainable procurement practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
Support the Design team in design to cost initiatives
Source and negotiate with suppliers for boutique construction, renovation, and maintenance projects
Report on project financial performance and supplier knowledge
Understand the needs and challenges of the Store Planning team

Profile

KEY FOR SUCCESS Education: Master's degree (BAC +5) from an engineering or architecture school, or a master's in building/construction. OR University/Business School degree specializing in purchasing/procurement. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in procurement specific to architecture or construction, preferably in a retail context. Alternatively, experience as a Store Planner with a demonstrated focus on financial performance and cost optimization. Skills and Personal Qualities Construction Procurement Understanding: Knowledge of construction processes, suppliers, and cost drivers in retail environments. Design Sensitivity & Value Engineering: Collaborates with Design team for cost-effective material and method selection. Effective Negotiation Skills: Ability to secure favorable terms for construction projects and services. Analytical & Organized: Manages financial data, tracks project progress, and maintains accurate records. Collaborative & Proactive: Builds strong internal/external relationships to drive project success. Languages: Fluent English (read, written, spoken) mandatory.
