Join an exciting project to develop a smart travel application focused on creating personalized city tours by leveraging Google Maps integration. This MVP will serve as the foundation for an ongoing product aimed at addressing real-world navigation challenges faced by travelers. The role is fully remote and requires a developer who is passionate about building intuitive, map-based mobile experiences and is comfortable collaborating on both frontend and backend aspects as needed. Your work will directly impact the way users explore cities, making travel more accessible and enjoyable.

Deliverables

Develop and maintain the MVP using Flutter, ensuring seamless integration with Google Maps.
Implement core features such as points of interest (POI) display, custom routing, and user-friendly navigation.
Integrate external APIs to enhance app functionality and data accuracy.
Collaborate on backend integration tasks as required to support app features.
Ensure high code quality, maintainability, and clear documentation throughout the development process.
Communicate progress and technical challenges effectively within the project timeline.

Requirements

Proven experience developing mobile applications with Flutter, particularly those involving map-based features.
Strong knowledge of Google Maps SDK, POI management, and routing algorithms.
Experience integrating third-party APIs and handling asynchronous data flows.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
Excellent communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment.
Willingness to contribute to backend integration and problem-solving as needed.
Familiarity with hospitality or travel industry needs is a plus.
Availability to start promptly and commit to the MVP phase, with potential for ongoing collaboration.
