Senior Solutions Consultant Consultant — CPM Software Vendor (Series B)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Salary: $150-230,000 Total OTE - 70/30 Split
Our client—an innovative, high-growth CPM (Corporate Performance Management) software vendor backed by strong Series B funding—is expanding its US Go-To-Market team in New York. The company is redefining how modern Finance teams plan, forecast, and make data-driven decisions. With rapid adoption across mid-market and enterprise accounts, they’re now seeking a Senior Solutions/Pre-Sales Consultant to help accelerate growth and shape the customer experience.
About the Role
As the Senior Solutions Consultant Consultant, you will serve as the trusted technical and functional expert throughout the sales cycle. You’ll partner closely with Account Executives, Finance leaders, and technical stakeholders to uncover business needs, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate the platform’s value.
This role is ideal for someone who blends deep FP&A/CPM expertise with strong communication skills and a passion for translating complex business processes into compelling solutions.
What You’ll Do
Lead discovery sessions to understand customer pain points, planning workflows, and data challenges
Design and deliver tailored product demos and prototypes
Own technical and functional responses during RFPs, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay field insights
Influence deal strategy with Account Executives, focusing on value-based selling
Guide prospects through best practices in planning, modeling, reporting, and integrations
Establish credibility with CFOs, FP&A directors, RevOps, and technical teams
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in CPM / EPM / FP&A technology (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, Planful, Board, Vena, Jedox, etc.)
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
Previous pre-sales, solution consulting, or implementation experience in a SaaS environment
Ability to design and present high-impact demos that clearly tell the value story
Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with senior executives
Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
