Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)

Role Overview:

Seeking an SDE II to build automation, monitoring, and diagnostic systems for satellite operations. The role focuses on developing scalable automation, improving test reliability, and troubleshooting complex issues across Python, Linux, and embedded environments. Ideal for someone who delivers reliable systems, writes clean code, and drives technical improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop automation to streamline satellite contact setup and validation.
Build monitoring/diagnostic tools for reliability and early fault detection.
Improve test stability, performance, and scalability.
Troubleshoot complex issues and implement durable fixes.
Contribute to architecture, design patterns, and system enhancements.
Collaborate across teams and mentor junior engineers.

Must-Have Skills

3+ years of software development experience.
Strong Python skills and solid Linux/embedded expertise.
Hands-on experience building scalable, reliable systems.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and system analysis capabilities.
Experience with automation, test frameworks, or monitoring tools.
Clear communication and cross-team collaboration.
Experience mentoring or leading engineers.
Knowledge of design patterns and performance optimization.
