Senior Business Analyst - Electronic Trading

Client: Big 5 Bank

Terms: 6-month Contract (rolling to 2 years)

Location: Downtown Toronto, 1-2 days a week in office

Project:

Support electronic foreign exchange (eFX) trading initiatives by driving product roadmap execution, gathering and documenting business requirements, and analyzing workflows. Collaborate closely with sales, trading, and development teams to deliver robust trading solutions. Lead functional and regression testing to ensure accurate pricing, seamless execution, and compliance across electronic trading platforms.

Responsibilities:

Liaise with business partners to analyze requirements
Create and track functional specification for development and testing
Perform Functional and Regression Testing
Support requirements for both FX and Electronic Trading
Assist agile development team with analysis and resolution of production issues and user queries.
Pull data utilizing SQL scripts

Key Qualifications:

8-10+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst in Capital Markets environments
Working knowledge of SQL
Comfortable in both an agile or waterfall working environment.
Prior experience in capital markets, specifically related to electronic trading, FX, and credit securities
Self-starter and proactive.
Ability to work with global stakeholders on both business and technology teams.
