Leadership Product Management Decision-making Research Architecture Software Architecture

Job Specifications

You bring real-world experience launching software products from the ground up, and you understand that meaningful product work extends far beyond the initial release. You thrive in ambiguity, diving deep into user needs, problem spaces, and domains until clarity emerges naturally. Your interest lies not in backlog maintenance or specification templates, but in owning meaningful objectives and pursuing them with precision, velocity, and sharp focus.

Trilogy is redefining the approach. Your role isn't to "steward a roadmap." It's to deliver a tangible, measurable business result. You receive one well-defined objective—an intended outcome when users engage with the product—and you are accountable for achieving it. Success requires cultivating domain mastery with AI as a collaborator and user feedback as your guide, translating that knowledge into actionable structures for both human teammates and AI systems, and navigating the product through rapid, evidence-driven cycles until the objective is met.

You'll work alongside a team that values impact over ceremony and substance over process artifacts. Your focus will be driving outcomes through decisions grounded in user evidence, tight feedback cycles, and incisive understanding. If you're done with traditional PM theater and ready to redefine the discipline, we invite your application. We're constructing the version of product management that should have existed from the start.

What You Will Be Doing

Develop BrainLifts: Create and maintain a living repository of expert knowledge that enhances AI capabilities, informs decisions, and demonstrates mastery of the domain.
Execute Product Iterations: Deploy incremental, evidence-based product improvements each week to guide the product toward its defined outcome.
Cultivate Domain Expertise: Develop comprehensive, organized knowledge within a targeted domain to enable better decision-making, generate more customized outputs, and establish credible authority.

What You Won’t Be Doing

Devoting entire months to single feature development; our model is to release new features weekly
Producing extensive PRDs, curating backlogs, or specifying every interface detail or edge condition
Designing technical implementations or defining software architecture

Basic Requirements

Director of AI Product Management key responsibilities

4+ years in a product leadership role at a product company, where you directly influenced a complete software product's direction, established the roadmap, and refined it using usage data or customer input (meaning a standalone product, not merely a feature within a larger system, and excluding internal tools, outsourcing projects, or bespoke development for individual clients)
Some experience in product management of software used by large enterprises, so you can understand the particularities of how large enterprises choose, buy, and adopt software, compared to consumers or even SMBs.
Technical background that enables discussing data models and system design trade-offs. Backed up by either formal education in Computer Science, or practical hands-on experience as a developer/coder of at least 1 year.
Enthusiasm for using AI in your daily work (e.g., research, analysis, synthesis, or strategy).
