Data Conversion Specialist – Level 2

Responsibilities:

The Data Conversion Specialist Level 2 will perform tasks including, but not limited to:

Identify and classify sensitive information such as personal records, financial data, and confidential correspondence.
Collect and prepare representative datasets from relevant systems, ensuring data is cleaned, labelled, and ready for classifier training.
Select appropriate classification methodologies (e.g., keyword detection, pattern recognition, AI-based context analysis).
Train and validate classifiers and fingerprint models to meet accuracy and compliance standards.
Integrate classification solutions with Purview mapping and governance frameworks.
Develop and update policies, guidance documents, and workflows for classification and labelling.
Provide training and awareness materials for staff on interpreting and applying classification results.
Implement continuous monitoring, retraining, and improvement strategies for classifiers and fingerprinting solutions.

Key Deliverables:

Requirements documentation outlining business needs and classification scenarios.
Prepared and labeled datasets for training and validation.
Trained classifier and fingerprint models achieving ≥95% accuracy.
Configuration and integration guides for Purview environment.
Validation and testing reports with compliance evidence.
Labelling policies and implementation workflows.
Training and awareness materials for staff.
Change management and communication plans.
Monitoring and improvement plan for ongoing refinement.
