M&A Programme IT Director – Corporate Carve Out / Separation Lead

Robert Half International (an S&P 500 global staffing provider) is supporting a private equity backed organisation in sourcing an experienced M&A Programme IT Director to lead a complex corporate carve out. This role will own the IT separation strategy, Day 1 readiness, and TSA delivery across infrastructure, applications, data and service. Ideal profile is a senior IT programme leader with proven end to end carve out experience in fast paced PE environments.

Assignment Details

Initial Duration: 6 months
Location: Mostly remote – occasional nationwide onsite meetings
Day Rate: £1,000 per day via FCSA-accredited umbrella
Start: ASAP potentially this side of the year in December 2025

Key Skills & Experience

Extensive experience delivering IT separation programmes within corporate carve outs or divestments
Proven ownership of Day 1 and Day 100 planning, separation blueprints and transitional operating models
Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud, networks, applications, data, service and security impacts in separation events
Hands-on experience shaping and executing TSAs and managing interdependencies across workstreams
Proven ability to work with C-suite and PE stakeholders, driving clarity, governance and delivery discipline
Comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous, high-pressure environments with shifting commercial constraints
Strong programme leadership, reporting, risk management and stakeholder management skills
Credible background in M&A technology programmes — Big Four or similar advisory desirable
