About The Role

We are looking for students to join Uber as a Sales Development Representative Intern this summer for a 12-week program! As an intern, you will support the Uber for Business team to bring the very best of Uber's portfolio of solutions to organizations. The segments supported by our SDRs are a highly diverse and varied set of industry verticals, touch many different buying personas who see value and have a need for Uber's business solutions, and are in a period of hyper growth. The Sales Development Representative role is a critical part of our ability to identify, qualify and serve customers in this segment, and plays an important role in ensuring we have a consistent, strong pipeline of new prospects and opportunities to fuel growth.

What You'll Do

Generate qualified new business opportunities through outbound prospecting
Conduct strategic outbound outreach into accounts via calls, emails, and LinkedIn
Research target accounts, map buying personas, and tailor outreach messaging to drive engagement.
Deliver Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) each month that convert into revenue opportunities.
Lead high-level conversations with key decision-makers to uncover business pain points and communicate Uber for Business's value.
Track daily activities and maintain clean data hygiene in Salesforce.
Represent Uber's values while delivering a top-tier prospect experience.

Basic Qualifications

Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026.
Availability to embark on an exciting 12-week internship focusing on a real-time, impactful business challenge to begin May/June 2026

Preferred Qualifications

Hunter mentality and previous experience cold calling, email campaigns, and social outreach.
Prior experience with sales tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce.
Strong organization and time management - comfortable juggling priorities and managing follow-ups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
A self-starter mindset with a passion for learning and exceeding goals.

About the Team

The Sales Development team is the top of the sales funnel, responsible for supercharging the sales pipeline for Uber for Business. We do so by hunting and uncovering qualified opportunities that drive Gross Bookings for Uber for Business

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD$27.00 per hour. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
