Job Description

Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers university students the opportunity to join a leading IT company and gain invaluable experience through our 13 month placement. HPE offers you a highly dynamic, fast-paced, professional working environment and the chance to develop the skills you have gained at university in a real business environment.

During your internship you will not only apply these skills in the IT industry, but also acquire a range of abilities to contribute to the business whilst working alongside industry professionals.

You'll help create and deliver integrated campaigns and events (face-face & Virtual) working with the Marketing teams in UK and other countries, sales and external agencies. This is a hands-on role incorporating execution of campaigns and events.

Throughout the program, you'll have regular training and one-to-one meetings with your manager. Working together, you'll set goals and plot your development. And with our open-plan offices and friendly working culture, you'll have the chance to learn from experienced professionals who can help you in your future career.

What You’ll Do

Support the day-to-day marketing programs and projects
Apply your creativity skills to enhance marketing campaigns
Develop digital marketing campaigns alongside our direct or channel marketing experts
Creation of digital banners, internal logos, posters, slide decks and newsletters to promote events projects, company strategy and initiatives to a wide audience of employees
Assist delivery and audience acquisition of face to face and virtual events for customers and partners
Managing deal pipeline lead management and sales related activities..
An opportunity to develop both professional and technical skills.
Exposure to senior leadership and collaboration widely across the organization.
Involves project management and reviewing, editing and creating campaign or communications content including video
Learning to become brand-savvy and have good market awareness

What You’ll Need

Potential interns must be in their 2nd year of a four-year degree which requires (or has an option for) 3rd year to be a one year's industrial placement, and are expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 grade
You'll have self-motivation to work independently, be confident in your resourcefulness, but aware when you need to ask for help and guidance
You will have good time management and organisational skills while being structured in your approach
You'll be adaptable in handling new and evolving requirements, and comfortable working under tight timescales
Be prepared to travel when necessary
Show Creativity in approaching projects
You'll have basic experience of video production and/ the use of Adobe software, Photoshop etc.
Exceptional written, visual and oral communication skills and comfortable talking to people of all seniority levels
Team oriented and collaborative mindset.
Accuracy and attention to detail in the face of a changing environment
