openbook is an AI-powered investing co-pilot designed to make stock market research faster, simpler, and more accessible for retail investors. Our platform turns complex financial data into clear, actionable insights through AI-driven stock analysis, intuitive portfolio tools, and integrated educational content. We help users cut through noise, understand companies quickly, and make confident, informed investment decisions.

We’re looking for a Software Engineering Intern who genuinely enjoys building from scratch and is knowledgeable about the stock market. You’ll be working directly with the founders and building real products. If you want to build, learn and move quickly, you’ll fit in.

You’ll do well here if you take real pride in what you build, care about good product design, and naturally take initiative.

What You’ll Be Working On

Building product features

Developing the full stack: frontend, backend, deployment

Designing and refining user experiences

Iterating quickly based on real user feedback

This role is for someone who wants real responsibility, and the opportunity to build a product that will impact how millions of retail investors make decisions. If you want a high-velocity environment and the chance to create something meaningful in fintech, we want to meet you.

This is a six week full time (35 hours per week) internship paid at £13.45 per hour.
