Job Title: Data Lead (Salesforce – Data Modelling & Service Cloud)

Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)

Contract: 6 Months (Extendable)

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Data Lead with strong expertise in Salesforce data modelling and hands-on exposure to Service Cloud. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading data architecture initiatives, resolving complex data model challenges, and driving simplification and optimisation across the Salesforce data estate.

This role requires someone who can collaborate closely with technical and business teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and optimisation of Salesforce data models, especially within Service Cloud.
Identify, investigate, and resolve data architecture and modelling issues.
Simplify and rationalise complex Salesforce data structures for better maintainability.
Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data architecture solutions.
Define and implement data governance standards and best practices.
Drive data integration initiatives with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
Guide data migration, cleansing, and transformation activities.
Monitor system performance and resolve Salesforce data-related issues proactively.
Stay updated on Salesforce releases and assess impacts on the current data model.
Mentor and support junior team members on data modelling and architecture.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Extensive experience working as a Salesforce Data Lead / Data Architect.
Salesforce Certified Data Architect — mandatory.
Strong understanding of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data models.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud (config & customisation).
Proven troubleshooting skills in Salesforce data model and integrations.
Experience optimising and simplifying large and complex Salesforce data estates.
Strong command of Salesforce data tools: Data Loader, Import Wizard, SOQL, Salesforce Connect, etc.
Solid understanding of data governance, compliance, and security (e.g., GDPR).
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools.
Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Service Cloud Consultant) preferred.
