About Sientia:
Sientia is a London-based fintech building the next generation of Payment-Linked Offers and Open Banking-powered loyalty infrastructure. We partner with banks, fintech apps, employee reward platforms, and major retail brands to power smarter, more transparent, incremental loyalty programmes.
Our founders spent more than a decade shaping this industry, and now we’re building the platform that finally solves the biggest problems in card-linked and payment-linked marketing: data accuracy, incrementality, multi-bank coverage, merchant descriptor intelligence, and enterprise-grade analytics.
We work with brands, banks, publishers, and affiliate networks-everything from Revolut to Awin to major high-street retailers. We are scaling fast, and our operations function is becoming foundational to keeping our ecosystem clean, reliable, and growing.
About You: We’re hiring an Operations Executive to join us on a 3-month contract, with a strong intention to convert into a full-time role after successful onboarding.
This role sits at the centre of our ecosystem - ensuring offers are accurate, publishers are supported, data is correct, and customers (brands & banks) receive a seamless experience. You’ll work closely with the founders (Sam, Kamran, Sina), engineering, and partnerships teams.
Perfect for someone who has worked in fintech or payments and understands offer data, transaction data, APIs, and operational rigor.
What You’ll Own & Deliver:
Offer & Partner Quality Control
Regular QC checks across all our offer feeds, brands, and publishers
Ensure offer details (CPA, terms, exclusions, images, logos, URLs) are accurate
Identify mismatches across partner systems and escalate quickly
Maintain offer hygiene inside our API and dashboards
Brand & Publisher Onboarding
Collect logos, images, terms, URLs, CPA details, and tracking links
Prepare onboarding packs and ensure all assets meet quality standards
Work cross-functionally with partners, affiliate networks, and merchants
Create repeatable processes for onboarding at scale
Transaction Data Reconciliation
QC check bi-weekly data files (often large CSVs) for:
Unusual patterns
Duplicates
Missing or malformed fields
CPA inconsistencies
Help ensure billing files are correct before they’re sent to brands or networks
Understand merchant descriptor / transaction data enough to spot inconsistencies
Training matching AI algorithm for merchant descriptors with Open Banking offers.
Process Building & Documentation
Create scalable, repeatable workflows for:
Offer management
Transaction reconciliation
Partner onboarding
Internal checklists
Translate workflows into clear documentation that can be used by future hires
Customer Support & Issue Resolution
Help respond to inbound support queries from brands and publishers
Log bugs, inconsistencies, and data anomalies for engineering
Support troubleshooting with affiliate networks and Open Banking partners
Who we are looking for:
Must-Haves
Prior experience in fintech - ideally payments, card-linked, Open Banking, or affiliates
Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, including formulas, pivots, and data QC
Comfort working with APIs (reading JSON, understanding endpoints, testing requests)
Experience handling large datasets and transaction files
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong attention to detail - this role requires precision
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with affiliate networks (Awin, CJ, Impact)
Understanding of merchant descriptors, transaction IDs, and reconciliation
Prior work in loyalty, cashback, or rewards programmes
Experience with tools like Postman, Looker, Zoho Analytics, or other BI platforms
Why you will love working here:
You’ll own an operations function from the ground up
You’ll work directly with the founding team-not layers of management
You’ll help shape the infrastructure behind some of the biggest banks and brands
You’ll be joining at a moment of real acceleration for Sientia
You’ll have a clear path into a full-time role
