Senior Civil/Structural Engineer

Location: Manchester, Liverpool or London

Salary: £52,000 - £55,000 (Depending on experience)

Contract: 9-month Fixed Term | 40 hours per week | Hybrid (60% office based)

The Role

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-impact civil and structural designs – from station upgrades and footbridges to multi-storey car parks and platform works. You'll be hands-on, responsible for producing and reviewing technical designs that shape real-world infrastructure.

You'll grow your leadership profile, work closely with directors, and gain exposure to increasingly complex projects that develop your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and review design packages for Network Rail projects – your work will be seen and used on the ground
Create practical, high-quality solutions that meet client and safety requirements
Collaborate with other disciplines for seamless project delivery
Mentor junior team members and build your leadership credentials
Apply industry standards confidently, with tools like Tekla and Revit to support delivery

Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, or working towards it
Strong experience delivering Network Rail civil or structural designs
Confident solving technical problems and presenting solutions
Ready to lead and mentor others while building your own future
