Essential Job Duties
Implements and operates private cloud platforms
Develops and integrates software for use orchestrating and operating the private cloud
Maintains system availability and capacity at acceptable levels
Understands (or Understanding of) the many components that make up private a (the) Cloud platform including: compute, network, storage, databases, orchestration, metering and more.
Evaluates, recommends and implements new features and technologies
Integrates cloud systems with other private and public clouds.
Enables robust, scalable, elastic provisioning cloud services in multiple geographic locations.
Assists as needed in the operational support production web sites.
Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.
Follow legal policies as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
Have familiarity with virtualization concepts, cloud technologies and related software
Experience In Using Openstack And/or Other Cloud Platforms.
Experience building, operating and supporting highly scalable, highly-available systems.
Familiarity with networking/routing concepts, load balancers, DNS, and client-server models.
Functional understanding of and comfort in using the following software components:

Education
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline plus 5+ years of experience or any combination of education and/or experience is required.
Certifications
Prefer RedHat Certified Engineer credential (or similar). Redhat Certified Architect credential (or similar) preferred. Other useful certification include Openstack from RedHat, Mirantis or similar organization.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
