We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a team responsible for building modern, user-facing applications and transforming legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact products used by millions of students and educators nationwide.
You’ll work across the stack designing, developing, and deploying applications using React, Node.js, and AWS Serverless technologies. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, self-driven, and able to deliver with minimal supervision.
Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension
What You’ll Do
Build and enhance external web applications using React (front-end) and Node.js (back-end)
Design and develop serverless microservices using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, and other AWS services
Support modernization efforts by migrating and redesigning legacy applications into modern AWS-based architectures
Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices and internal standards
Create design specs, perform code reviews, and write unit/integration tests
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, or AWS CodePipeline
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to develop efficient data flows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
Drive automation, improve testing frameworks, and help strengthen data quality processes
Support documentation, technical design reviews, and knowledge transfer activities
Required Qualifications
7+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, React
Hands-on experience building serverless applications in AWS
Experience with DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, SNS/SQS, and microservice design
Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline)
Knowledge of distributed systems, modern software engineering practices, and SDLC
Solid foundation in object-oriented programming and computer science fundamentals
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup
