Director of Marketing
Your Core Responsibilities
Growth & Demand Generation
Build and manage marketing programs that drive new customers across paid and organic channels.
Run and optimize campaigns yourself across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and more.
Lead our email, SEO, content, video, and referral efforts to consistently grow the pipeline.
Content, Messaging & Brand
Create compelling content in a variety of formats—from long-form storytelling to viral short-form videos.
Develop case studies, social media content, and cross-platform campaigns that strengthen brand visibility.
Manage our social channels and expand our presence across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Partnership & Community Marketing
Build marketing programs with strategic partners such as camera manufacturers, software vendors, and distributors.
Produce materials that support resellers and channel partners.
Launch referral, loyalty, and ambassador programs that turn users into advocates.
Events & Marketing Operations
Lead our event strategy—including booth planning, promotion, lead capture, and follow-up.
Choose and manage our marketing tools and systems, including AI-powered automation tools.
Set up clean processes for tracking, reporting, and scaling our marketing operations.
Data, Insights & Reporting
Define KPIs across each marketing channel.
Analyze campaign performance and present insights that guide business decisions.
Continuously evaluate what’s working and where to shift resources.
Leadership & Team Building
Establish the foundation for a strong marketing organization—processes, structure, workflows, and tools.
Over time, hire and lead a growing internal marketing team.
Manage agencies, contractors, and freelancers to extend your reach and support specialized work.
What You’ll Bring
Required Experience
5+ years in SaaS marketing with experience in B2B growth, lead generation, and working closely with Sales.
Exposure to consumer-style marketing, including short-form content, paid media, and viral-style campaigns.
Hands-on startup experience at the Seed, Series A, or Series B stage.
Ability to switch between high-level strategy and detailed execution.
Strong knowledge of the video, AV, broadcast, or related industries.
Experience managing a small team (2+ people) or directing agencies/contractors.
Background in channel or partner marketing, especially creating enablement resources for partners.
Key Skills
Strong grasp of multi-channel demand generation.
Ability to build structure and process in a growing organization.
Comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment with incomplete information.
Strong communicator who can influence across teams and functions.
Additional Details
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $140,000 – $210,000 USD
