Job Title: Director / Senior Director of Logistics
Position Overview
The Director/Senior Director of Logistics will lead the end-to-end global logistics strategy for our Ready-to-Wear (RTW) business, overseeing inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics across all channels—retail, wholesale, e-commerce, and marketplace partners. This role ensures operational excellence, service-level performance, cost efficiency, sustainability compliance, and alignment with seasonal product flow. The ideal candidate blends strategic leadership with hands-on operational expertise, possesses strong vendor management abilities, and has deep experience within the fashion, apparel, or luxury RTW sector.

Logistics Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute the global logistics strategy across inbound, outbound, and returns networks.
Build scalable logistics frameworks to support growth in DTC, flagship retail, wholesale, and e-commerce.
Partner with Planning, Production, Merchandising, and Finance to align logistics operations with seasonal calendars and launch timelines.
Define long-term network design, including warehouses, cross-border hubs, and 3PL partnerships.
Oversee import/export operations, customs clearance, freight consolidation, and vendor-to-warehouse flow.
Manage global freight providers (air, ocean, ground) and negotiate rates, lead times, and service KPIs.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, HS classification, documentation accuracy, and duty optimization.
Manage distribution strategy for B2B and B2C channels, ensuring on-time and in-full delivery performance.
Optimize e-commerce fulfillment speed, delivery costs, SLAs, and carrier portfolio (parcel, LTL, courier).
Oversee wholesale routing compliance, EDI adherence, and retailer performance scorecard management.
Drive omni-channel capabilities including ship-from-store, ship-to-store, and same-day/next-day options.
Lead performance of distribution centers (internal or 3PL), including picking/packing, inventory accuracy, replenishment, and returns processing.
Build and monitor KPIs for productivity, throughput, shrinkage, cost per unit, SLA performance, cycle counts, and capacity planning.
Evaluate and manage 3PL partners; negotiate contracts and implement service improvements.
Introduce automation, WMS enhancements, and process optimization initiatives.
Plan logistics capacity for collection launches, high-volume periods (e.g., Holidays, Fashion Week, capsule drops), and new market entries.
Ensure alignment with Production, Merchandising, and Marketing for flawless new-season logistics execution.
Drive logistics-related sustainability initiatives (carbon footprint reduction, packaging optimization, greener freight options).
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (customs, transportation, product safety, warehouse standards).
Develop business-continuity and risk-mitigation plans for supply chain disruptions.
Lead, mentor, and develop logistics and operations teams.
Collaborate closely with Planning, Production, Sourcing, Merchandising, Retail Ops, E-Com Ops, Finance, and Customer Service.
Communicate performance and initiatives to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Key Qualifications
10–15+ years of logistics or supply chain experience; at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong background in fashion/apparel; experience with RTW, luxury, or premium brands highly preferred.
Proven success managing global transportation networks and 3PL warehouse operations.
Deep understanding of import/export, compliance, and global trade (EU/UK/US/Asia).
Expertise in e-commerce fulfillment and carrier management.
Strong analytical capabilities with experience in WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and contracting skills.
Strategic thinker with operational discipline and the ability to lead through rapid growth.
