Hiring: Azure DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes Required)
Location: Washington, DC (Onsite)
W2 Contract Only – NO C2C
We are seeking a hands-on Azure DevOps Engineer with strong Kubernetes experience to support cloud migration, DevOps automation, and infrastructure operations for enterprise applications. This is a strictly W2 onsite role.
Required Technical Skills
Azure DevOps (Pipelines, repos, release management)
Kubernetes (container operations, deployments, YAML, Helm experience preferred)
Kafka knowledge
Azure PostgreSQL Database
Azure Key Vault
Azure Active Directory (AD)
Basic understanding of Azure cloud services (App Services, Storage, Networking, etc.)
Basic knowledge of: Databricks, ADF, Data Lake, Kafka, Python, PySpark
Expectations of the Role
• Migrate applications into Azure Cloud Services
• Act as a bridge between product teams & cloud engineering teams
• Set up authorization, secrets, identity access, and Key Vault
• Fix vulnerabilities reported through OIS scanning
• Support DevOps automation & CI/CD improvements
Good to Have
• Experience in asset management or the financial domain
• Understanding of audit requirements for regulated applications
• Unix shell scripting experience
• Knowledge of SQL / DBMS (Oracle, Postgres)
• Programming skills in Python or R
• API integration experience
• Bash / Linux scripting
