Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Fayetteville, North Carolina Metropolitan Area OR Fort Belvoir, VA for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and ensuring seamless continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. You will manage system performance, optimize cloud environments, and monitor resources while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and secure solutions.

Qualifications

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate infrastructure deployment and configuration
Strong background in Software Development and Continuous Integration practices
Experience in System Administration, with expertise in managing and troubleshooting Linux environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps principles
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and performance optimization
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is a plus
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or similar are advantageous
