Portfolio Test Manager (Financial Services)
Location: South Wales (remote)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: £80,000 - £95,000 + share scheme + phc

We're looking for an experienced Portfolio Test Manager to take a strategic leadership role in shaping and driving quality assurance across large-scale programmes and projects. This is an opportunity to lead a team of QA professionals and Programme Test Managers, champion best practices, and ensure delivery excellence in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Portfolio Test Manager - What You'll Do:
Define and implement QA strategies across multiple programmes and portfolios.
Lead and mentor QA teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Drive adoption of test automation frameworks and shift-left principles.
Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Squad Leads to improve delivery performance and remove systemic impediments.
Champion knowledge sharing and QA maturity across the organisation.
Portfolio Test Manager - What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in QA leadership roles within large-scale programmes or portfolios, ideally within Financial Services
Strong background in test automation frameworks and Agile delivery.
Expertise in Scaled Agile practices and tools (Jira, Confluence).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred), CI/CD, and secure software development.
Desirable Skills:
Awareness of Generative AI/Agentic AI tooling.
