DevOps Engineer (Remote)

$130-150K

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives in cloud-native, high-growth environments and takes ownership of reliability, scalability, and delivery. You’ll design and operate modern infrastructure, improve CI/CD pipelines, and partner closely with engineering teams to help them ship faster and safer.

This is a high-impact role with a high-growth startup for someone who enjoys building strong foundations, automating everything possible, and raising the bar for operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering in production environments
Deep hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda) and Kubernetes
Strong expertise in CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar) and automated deployment pipelines
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
Solid understanding of cloud security, DevSecOps principles, and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO a plus)
Experience improving observability, monitoring, and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.)
Ability to design systems that balance speed, reliability, and cost efficiency
Comfortable supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations
Clear communicator who can collaborate across backend, web, mobile, and security teams
Proactive, improvement-minded engineer who enjoys mentoring and sharing best practices
