About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Architect who thrives on driving enterprise-scale impact. In this role, you’ll work post-sale to help our largest customers across the DACH region scale n8n across their organization, uncover new workflows, and identify high-value opportunities — contributing directly to 5–7 figure expansion deals.
This is not a support or onboarding role — you’ll act as a strategic technical advisor, working with IT Ops, SecOps, and other teams to design scalable solutions, drive adoption, and maximize ROI. You’ll also flex into pre-sales where your enterprise expertise can shape complex deals and proofs-of-concept.
Your Mission
Empower enterprise DACH customers to expand and embed n8n across multiple teams and systems, turning initial deployments into large-scale automation initiatives and strategic wins.
What You’ll Do
1⃣ Drive Enterprise Expansion
Identify new teams, departments, and workflows ready for automation.
Architect scalable technical solutions to integrate n8n with complex enterprise environments.
Lead technical discussions and workshops with senior stakeholders to uncover expansion opportunities.
Drive high-value expansion deals (5–7 figures) alongside Account Executives and Customer Success.
2⃣ Serve as a Strategic Technical Advisor
Act as a trusted advisor to IT Ops, SecOps, and platform engineering teams.
Help customers develop long-term automation strategies and internal best practices.
Provide guidance on architecture, governance, and scaling n8n securely across large organizations.
3⃣ Bridge Sales, Product, and Engineering
Translate enterprise customer requirements into actionable product and technical feedback.
Contribute reusable assets such as reference architectures, solution playbooks, and scaling blueprints.
Support pre-sales strategically for high-value deals and complex POCs.
What You Bring
Must-Have:
6+ years in enterprise-facing technical roles (Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar) in B2B SaaS.
Deep technical expertise: APIs, integrations, oAuth, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure.
Strategic thinking: Ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes and ROI.
Executive communication: Comfortable with senior technical and business stakeholders.
Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
Startup agility: Comfortable in fast-moving, evolving environments.
Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in team sessions in NYC.
Native-level German language proficiency
Nice to Have:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
Experience with workflow automation or integration platforms (n8n, Workato, Zapier, Make).
Enterprise architecture experience (cloud, identity, security).
Experience driving platform adoption at scale or building internal Centers of Excellence.
Active in tech or open-source communities.
