Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Development Representative/Manager to join our team at Advantage One. This entry-level position is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience with a clear path to advancement within our Enterprise Business Development Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in outbound prospecting, lead generation, appointment setting, and managing inbound sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation:

   - Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts.

   - Engage prospects through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.

   - Qualify leads to assess their fit and potential for our solutions.

   - Set appointments for the Enterprise Sales Team to discuss our products and services.

2. Inbound Sales & Lead Management:

   - Respond to inbound inquiries & referrals from SMB prospects.

   - Conduct initial discovery calls to understand the prospect's needs.

   - Provide information about Advantage One’s products and services.

   - Convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities.

   - Effectively manage the sales process to drive new business.

3. Sales Administration:

   - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system.

   - Assist in preparing sales reports and presentations.

   - Support the sales team with administrative tasks as needed.

4. Learning & Development:

   - Participate in training sessions to learn about Geotab & Advantage One’s products, services, industry partners and sales processes.

   - Gain hands-on experience with internal systems and tools.

   - Work closely with Enterprise Business Development Managers for mentoring and strategic alignment.

Qualifications:

- Hard skills:

CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), 
Prospecting automation AI tools like Co-pilot, Artisan, Clay
Data analysis, specifically of behavioral trends for leads moving through a sales process,
Expertise with social media platforms, communication features, and analytics tools

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

- Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Previous sales or customer service experience is advantageous but not required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an asset.
