Job Specifications

Java Developer with PEGA – Contract (B2B / Sub‑Con)

Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Java Developer with strong PEGA BPM expertise to join a dynamic team delivering enterprise‑grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and PEGA BPM
Configure PEGA rules, components, and workflows to meet business needs
Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services across Java and PEGA systems
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality solutions
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Must‑Have Skills

Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
Hands‑on experience with PEGA BPM
PEGA certifications such as CSA or CSSA
Expertise in REST API development, JSON/XML, and integration patterns
Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and secure coding practices
Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
UI development in PEGA or frameworks like Angular/React
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, CI/CD pipelines)
Exposure to Agile environments and financial domain projects
PEGA CSA / CSSA / LSA
