The Role

The Backend developer’s main responsibility is building the structure of a software application. The candidate must have a great attention to detail and will be involved in trade-offs about how to meet the short and long term business goals as we expand our Engineering team. Alongside this a flare for learning and pushing for the business with a flare of entrepreneurship.

In This Role, You Will

– Have commercial experience in building products with web technologies

– A good grasp of object-orientated programming and design patterns that avoid redundancy, promote developer efficiency, testability and maintainability.

– A desire to collaborate and innovate with other members of the team

– Good Knowledge And Experience Of Unit Testing

– Experience in developing REST web services and APIs

– Delivering clean, elegant code including well-structured libraries

Qualifications And Skills

– Strong software engineering experience in programming languages and frameworks

– Solid experience in building and deploying large scale secure RESTful APIs

– Passion for learning and building cutting-edge applications

– Excellent Problem Solving Skills

– Good communication skills

– BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
