Job Opportunity: Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Birmingham, UK

Work Mode: Onsite (5 days/week)

Fixed Term Contract: 6 Months to start with

Key Responsibilities

Back-End Development

Design and develop RESTful APIs & microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

Implement business logic, handle database interactions, and integrate third-party services.

Optimize performance and ensure application scalability.

Front-End Development

Build responsive, intuitive interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Work closely with UI/UX teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

Database Management

Design and manage relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL solutions (MongoDB).

Write optimized queries and enhance database performance.

DevOps & Deployment

Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred).

Testing & Debugging

Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

Quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

1–3 years of hands-on full-stack development experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Strong expertise in Java, React JS, and HTML5.

Familiarity with:

Distributed systems

NoSQL & relational databases

Distributed messaging

Transactional services

Experience integrating with RESTful web services.

Comfortable working in Agile environments.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

AWS cloud infrastructure exposure is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with microservice architecture.

Knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB, Spring, vert.X, or similar technologies.
