Title: Junior QA Automation Tester with Node.Js experience

Location: NYC, NY(Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Node.js and related libraries.
Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of applications and seamless integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, document, and track defects; work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
Implement best practices in QA automation, including code reviews, reusable components, and scalable test strategies.
Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability of automated suites.
Integrate automation with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps for continuous testing.
Provide clear reporting on test results, coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Node.js for automation scripting.
Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices testing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize automation scripts.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
