Job Title: Junior AWS Developer

Location: Hybrid - Sacramento, CA

6-month contract-to-hire

Pay: $24-$27hr

We are seeking a motivated Junior AWS Developer with foundational experience in cloud technologies and web development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of AWS services, coding proficiency in multiple languages, and the ability to work across both frontend and backend environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications leveraging AWS services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
Support both frontend and backend development for web applications.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience in AWS development.
Strong understanding of AWS core services, including:
Lambda
CloudWatch
EC2
VPC

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience

Proficiency in JavaScript (TypeScript & Node.js), Java, and Python.
Familiarity with relational databases and query languages (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
Experience with Amazon Connect.
Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
Understanding of Virtual Machines / VDI environments.
Full-stack development experience for web applications.
