Senior Software Engineer - Back End III (Onsite)
Primary Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Senior Software Engineer - Back End III for our premier client in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Education And Experience »
Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
Understanding of the software development life cycle.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new programming languages.
Proficiency in Java, Java Spring, OpenShift, HTML, CSS, and scripting.
Ability to design and develop Splunk and Dynatrace dashboards for monitoring and alerting
Strong soft skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
Nice To Have
Experience with Test Automation tools
Knowledge of ATM Terminal Driving and Testing
Experience with ATM Software for Diebold (Vista, VCP7, TM, Vynamic Vision, Vynamic View), NCR (Vision), etc.
Must Have
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
APIs – Rest and Soap.
Application Dev.
Java.
Java Spring.
Logging/Monitoring Tools such as Splunk/Dynatrace/ELK stack.
OpenShift.
Nice To Have
Diebold/NCR ATM Software Experience.
Docker.
Docker Kubernetes.
Test Automation.
What You’ll Do
Job Responsibilities:
Full lifecycle application development.
Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.
Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.
Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).
Design and implement Java Spring applications using OpenShift.
Implement localization or globalization of software.
Software modeling and simulation.
Back end architecture, design, and development.
Software testing and quality assurance.
Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
Support, maintain and document software functionality.
Integrate software with existing systems.
Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.
Maintain standards compliance.
Manage code repositories and collaborate using GitHub.
