Role Title: Java Backend Developer

Location: Onsite- Lansing MI

Overview

We are seeking a Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Java and SQL to support ongoing application development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts. This role involves hands-on development, problem-solving, and collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills

2 to 4 years of experience with Java, J2EE, and SQL.
Background in developing web applications.
Familiarity with agile delivery practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
Solid problem-solving ability, including the capability to conduct in-depth research when needed.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot web applications and batch processes.
Write and optimize SQL queries within Oracle databases to ensure performance and reliability.
Utilize Jira and Bitbucket for task tracking and version control.
Perform root cause analysis and research new technologies to recommend effective solutions.
Support a variety of research and development tasks as project needs evolve.

Functional and well-documented web applications.
Stable and efficient batch processes.
