Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Operations Manager on a Fixed Term Contract which is being offered on a fixed-term basis to ensure continuity of key responsibilities during a defined period of organisational need.
The Business Operations Manager will play a key role in supporting our team during an important period. In this role, you’ll help us strengthen our risk management practices and coordinate our finance processes and procurement activities to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll also get involved in other operational aspects of our work, including central planning and coordination, supplier and contract management, and supporting related internal workstreams. If you enjoy problem-solving, working collaboratively, and making an immediate impact, we’d love to hear from you.
The minimum criteria for this role are:
- Experience with (public sector) procurement, financial administration and risk management
- Experience and track record of operations management, preferably within a professional services sector
- Excellent organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills and close attention to detail
- Experience of producing and maintaining high quality and easy to use business documentation, logs, spreadsheets and dashboards
- Proven track record of being a proactive and effective business operations partner, who is able to develop and maintain effective working relationships within and outside the direct team
- Good working knowledge of MS applications, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word as well as collaboration applications such as Sharepoint and Teams.
