Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Fleet, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Mildenhall, Newcastle or Nottingham Office. With an element of working from home. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in Great Britain and not overseas. You will be asked to express a location preference during the application process. Informal hybrid arrangements are available and the balance between home and workplace working is to be agreed with the line manager to achieve the right balance between collaboration, in-person engagement and flexibility.
Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to support the DDaT Contract and Supplier Manager with all aspects of the DDaT Directorate’s Contracts and Suppliers.
Job Description
The main accountabilities of this role are as follows:
Monitor and analyse contracts for key deliverables, KPIs, and renewal timelines, ensuring compliance with procurement and governance frameworks.
Develop supplier performance dashboards to provide transparency and accountability across departments.
Contracts spend and trend analysis to identify cost-saving, efficiency, and aggregation opportunities.
Support audits and reporting, maintaining evidence of due diligence and value for money.
Facilitate supplier relationship management, promoting social value, sustainability, and local economic impact.
Split all such Contracts and Suppliers into a Gold, Silver and Bronze category to enable consistency across all contracts.
Management of 1 Grade 10 Contracts and Supplier officer.
The Team Representative with regards the Link between the Business Relationship Managers and the DDaT Supplier and Contract Management Teams.

Experience
Essential Criteria:
Strong data analysis and reporting using tools like excel for database queries.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Supplier performance monitoring and contract administration.
Understanding of contract lifecycle (pre-award, award, post-award, closeout).
Desirable Criteria:
Familiarity with procurement regulations.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Contributing to supplier relationship engagement.
