Role: Full stack Engineer

Location: London

Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office

This role is central to Client’s mission of creating a bank that combines technological excellence with human intelligence. You’ll guide technical strategy, drive engineering best practices, and play a key part in delivering high-quality, secure solutions that power our banking ecosystem.

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in React Native for mobile/front-end development and AWS-based backend systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building scalable, event-driven applications using modern backend frameworks and cloud-native services.

We're Looking for Someone Who Is:

Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native
A proven Full stack Engineer with hands-on experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex digital or financial platforms.
Deeply skilled in software design and architecture, ideally across cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).
Proficient in modern development frameworks, such as Java, Python, or Node.js, and familiar with microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Experienced in cloud and infrastructure-as-code technologies, such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS services (Lambda, EC2, RDS, etc.).
Comfortable working with data-rich systems, integrating APIs, and ensuring platform performance at scale.
Implement event-driven architectures using Event Sourcing and/or CQRS
Passionate about engineering quality, from testing and automation to observability and continuous improvement.
Strong communicator that can simplify complexity, influence senior stakeholders, and guide teams toward the right technical choices.
Focused on delivery: balancing pragmatism with technical excellence to achieve meaningful outcomes for the business and clients.

The skills needed for the role are :

Strong expereince in any backend programming language out of 3– Java/Python/Node
Strong front end – React Native and some experience in React JS also
AWS services - Lambda, EC2, RDS
Terraform
Event Sourcing or CQRS
Should also have familiarity with Performance testing
