Senior QA Test Analyst (1-Year Contract)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Test Analyst to support the implementation of a cloud-based Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) solution. This role will focus on validating system functionality, integrations, and performance across enterprise contact centre platforms, including workforce management and quality management solutions.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on QA experience, thrives in complex enterprise environments, and can collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements
Perform functional, regression, integration, and user interface (UI) testing across CCaaS and related platforms
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including coordination, issue triage, and resolution tracking
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and vendor partners to validate functionality, usability, and performance
Lead testing efforts or coordinate testing activities with other QA resources
Develop and maintain QA documentation such as test strategies, test plans, test scripts, test scenarios, and test reports
Investigate defects identified during testing or in production, analyze logs, and escalate issues as required
Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
Provide regular reporting on test progress, defects, risks, and quality metrics
Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and overall product quality
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
Proven experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases
Strong experience with functional, integration, regression, UI testing, and UAT
Hands-on experience testing contact centre platforms such as Genesys Cloud CX and Verint
Workforce Management / Quality Management
Experience working closely with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors
Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail or equivalent)
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
Nice to Have
Experience in public sector or large service-oriented organizations
Exposure to automated testing tools or scripting
Familiarity with cloud-based enterprise systems and integrations
Additional Information
Hybrid work arrangement with an expectation of approximately two in-office days per week (flexible for the right candidate)
Interviews anticipated mid-January
Expenses may be reimbursed in accordance with contract terms
