Duties & Responsibilities

Develop data migration pipelines and archive systems
Provide technical support for applications and infrastructure
Provide technical expertise and guidance for project needs
Independently learn, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
Provide technical input to the IT Manager
Report project status updates to the IT Manager
Adhere to NCDHHS policies and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

Ability to provide technical assistance and collaborate with multiple teams
Strong experience with Java and SQL
Subject matter expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems
Experience working with relational databases
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; self-starter

Skills & Experience Requirements

Required (5 Years Each):

Experience with Intersystems Cache Database and ETL processes for data archiving
Experience with WebSphere Application Server
Experience working with SDLC processes
Ability to understand technical architecture and work with infrastructure teams
Ability to provide technical assistance and communicate with multiple teams
Development and support of technical solutions for business processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; self-starter
Ability to clearly convey verbal and written communication

Highly Desired:

Experience with Java, HTML, HTTP, XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI – 6 Years
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) – 5 Years

Desired:

Experience with Web Services, Linux & Windows Operating Systems – 6 Years
Experience with FTP / SFTP / FTPS
