Job Title: Merchant Operations Associate (Hybrid – Montreal)

Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid: Office / Work from Home & Field-Based)

Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Occasional weekends required for special events

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Merchant Operations Associate to support our growing network of partner restaurants. This role is split between office/work-from-home responsibilities and in-field work, engaging directly with merchants across the Greater Montreal Area.

You will play a key role in merchant outreach, support, and on-the-ground promotions, working as part of a fast-growing team dedicated to delivering exceptional merchant experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct merchant outreach via phone, email, and in-person visits

Provide hands-on support to partner restaurants in the field

Assist with in-person customer promotions and merchant events

Perform desk-based tasks such as sourcing photos and merchant-related data

Maintain accurate records and follow established operational procedures

Collaborate closely with the Operations team and report to the Operations Supervisor

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

2 years of experience in sales, customer support, merchant operations, or a related field

Strong communication skills in English and French (required)

Basic proficiency with a MacBook, Google Suite, and Zoom

Comfortable traveling within the Greater Montreal Area (and occasionally outside Montreal )

Ability to work occasional weekends for special events

Proven ability to work independently while following established guidelines

Background in sales, ideally with in-person sales or support experience

Access to a vehicle (personal or shared)

Proficiency in additional languages beyond English and French

Experience using Salesforce and Slack

Basic knowledge of SQL

Strong familiarity with the city of Montreal
