Location: Hybrid 60% office-40% Remote Knutsford
Duration: 31/07/2026
Rate to SSC (including supplier charge): £282

Role Description:
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Developer to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure solutions that support enterprise applications and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in systems administration, networking, and development, with a focus on automation and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain infrastructure across Windows and Unix environments.
Manage and optimize networking components to ensure secure and efficient connectivity.
Administer and troubleshoot databases to support application performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure operations.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure with application requirements.
Required Skills:
Infrastructure Knowledge: Proven experience in managing enterprise-grade infrastructure.
Operating Systems: Windows Server and/or Unix/Linux expertise (both preferred).
Networking: Strong understanding of network protocols, configuration, and security.
Database: Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Development & Automation:
Proficiency in Java and Python for Scripting and application integration.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (eg, Ansible, Terraform, or similar).
