Location: Remote (Newcastle / North East based preferable)

Contract: Full-time

Salary: £25 - £30k depending upon experience.

Our head office is based in Whitley Bay, Newcastle. This role is predominantly home-based with some travel for training and meetings.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to play a key role in shaping how data drives growth for our clients — and for Alpine Online itself.

This is a hands-on role, combining deep analytical expertise with commercial thinking. You will analyse complex consumer datasets, design data-driven strategies, and translate insights into clear, compelling recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.

You will also play a key role in the launch of an exciting new service in 2026.

Key responsibilities

Analyse complex consumer datasets to deliver clear, actionable insights
Design and deliver data-driven strategies that directly support client growth
Present insights and recommendations confidently
Manage and develop data reporting tools and dashboards
Conduct retailer planogram analysis with 3D modelling software.
Incorporate AI and advanced analytics techniques to enhance insight quality and efficiency
Support team members in analytical best practice
Collaborate closely with clients, partners and internal teams
Contribute strategically to the development of new services and propositions

About You

You are an accountable and commercially minded data professional, who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful stories that drive real-world outcomes.

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong expertise in data analysis and analytical methodologies
Exceptional problem-solving skills and critical thinking
Proven experience working with statistics and consumer data.
Comfortable analysing data using excel, pivot table analysis, and presenting in PowerPoint
Experience working with and building reports within data visualisation tools such as Power BI and NielsenIQ Discover.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small, agile team
Practical experience applying AI within analytics workflows to generate deeper insights

Above all, you have a passion for using data to drive growth and commercial success for clients.
