Senior Communications Manager (6+ months contract) 3 days a week

Location: Remote / Occasional travel to London

Start: ASAP

Rate: £550 Outside IR35

Contract: 6 months, strong likelihood of extension

About the Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Communications Lead to join a growing, ambitious mid-sized organisation during an exciting period of development and change.

Responsibilities

Write and deliver clear, engaging internal communications to support change and transformation activity across the group.
Work closely with Project Teams to communicate project updates, timelines, and impacts to employees.
Translate agreed project and change messages into plain-English communications that are easy to understand.
Support the sequencing and timing of communications so messages land clearly and consistently.
Help ensure internal communications across different projects feel joined-up and aligned.
Adapt content for different audiences and tones of voice, following existing brand and messaging guidelines.
Support the use of core messages and narratives, updating content as messaging evolves.
Assist with the preparation of communications for different internal channels (e.g. emails, intranet updates, presentations).
Liaise with marketing, brand, or PR teams when required to ensure alignment.
Track feedback and questions from employees and support updates to communications as needed.
Manage multiple pieces of work at the same time while meeting agreed deadlines.
