Job Title: Test Engineer

Location: Strasbourg (80% onsite/20% remote)

Job Type: Contract B2B/Freelancer

Daily Rate: €450 per day for onsite work/€350 for the remote days worked

We have an exciting opportunity to join a very long term project at a at an European Union Institution based 80% of the year in Strasbourg/20% working remote.

We are looking for a Test Engineer who has experience in the following fields:

Experience in planning, analysing design and implementation of test cases
Design and develop automated testing scripts (functional, integration, and performance).
Create and maintain test cases for: Kafka message processing, RESTful API validation and Full end-to-end system workflows.
Conduct load, stress, and scalability tests in a cloud environment.
Support corrective testing by identifying and resolving critical defects.
Contribute to the generation of synthetic training datasets for testing.
Contribute to development efforts

Tasks will include:

Produce test design specifications – test cases, the applicable Test Plans and to execute the test plans
Design test scenarios to ensure 100% coverage of requirements; prepare test cases (the ones which cannot be automated) and automated test scripts to test the identified scenarios
Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by Lot 2 is defect-free
Execute the required test cases and analyse the results
Report on the test results

The daily rate before tax for remote and onsite are below:

Onsite rate = €450.00

Remote rate = €350.00
