Contract Length: 6 months
Day Rate: Upto £600p/d Outside IR35
I am partnered with a leading global software company, currently seeking an experienced GRC Specialist to support a critical risk and compliance programme on a 6-month contract.
This is a hands-on role suited to a senior GRC professional who has designed and implemented control frameworks from the ground up and can operate confidently in a fast-paced, corporate environment.Key Responsibilities

Lead and support enterprise risk management activities across the organisation
Design, implement, and maintain GRC control frameworks from scratch
Ensure alignment with ISO standards (eg ISO 27001) and NIST frameworks
Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and control testing
Translate regulatory and security requirements into practical, business-aligned controls
Partner with security, engineering, and compliance stakeholders to embed controls
Support audits, assurance activities, and executive-level reporting
Required Experience

Proven experience in a GRC Specialist/Risk & Compliance role
Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and NIST frameworks
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing control frameworks end-to-end
Solid background in corporate risk management and compliance
Ability to operate independently and deliver in a contract environment
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
