About

The Digital Security Office (DSO) ensures that the IT Security risks to which the Belfius group is exposed to, are tracked, treated and mitigated in line with the regulatory, business and security requirements. DSO has its own ambitious Security Roadmap that focuses on major improvements to ensure the predefined security ambitions are effectively realized.

The infrastructure security team is responsible for network security, securing the Azure environment, the security of our workplace environment and the PKI setup. Belfius is searching for a resource to support this team, to participate in on-going projects and to help with optimizing network flows and firewall policies.

Description:

Your task is to assist the current Infrastructure Security team with their day to day tasks and assist in on-going projects, which includes:
Participate with the design and implementation of network security solutions
Maintain security policies, procedures and documentation
Assist in the design of a new management network
Support developing secure baselines for datacentre infrastructure
Maintain a secure configuration for the workplace environment

Soft skills

Pragmatic and analytical mindset
Excellent knowledge of English is required
Fluent in Dutch or French
Good communicator, Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Team-oriented, motivated, strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ mindset

Technical skills:

In-depth knowledge of networking, firewall and proxy technologies.
Understanding of network connectivity and security for workplace
Experience with securing network flows inside the corporate network and for integrations with external solutions
Experience in setting up an out of band network for large datacentre deployments
